Bryson City is located at the southern edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, near Cherokee, just an hour's drive west of Asheville; and less than three hours from Atlanta, Greenville, Charlotte, Knoxville, Chattanooga and Columbia.

Directions the campground: From US 74 and exit 67, go north on Veterans Blvd. At the first light, turn right on to Main Street (US 19). At the next light, turn left on to Everett Street. At the train depot turn right on to Depot Street. At the end of Depot Street, turn left on Ramseur, then immediately right on Deep Creek Road. Go a half mile and bear left before the bridge. You'll find us about a half mile on your right. Registration is in the log cabin general store.

We discourage campers with RVs from traveling on Rt. 28 from Franklin to Bryson City or Rt. 19 from Maggie Valley to Bryson City, or from using River Road in Bryson City. These are winding, narrow roads.
